Swiss Re Announces Leadership Transition in Public Sector Solutions
Global reinsurer Swiss Re has declared the appointment of Marilyn Blattner-Hoyle as the new Head of Public Sector Solutions, with her role commencing on April 1, 2025. She will be succeeding Veronica Scotti, who has decided to leave the company after an illustrious career spanning over 25 years.
Throughout her tenure, Scotti has held several prominent positions within the Group, including Managing Director, President & CEO for Canada and the English Caribbean, and most recently serving as the Chairperson of Public Sector Solutions since 2018.
Blattner-Hoyle, who joined Swiss Re in 2021, currently holds the position of Global Head of Trade Finance, Trade Credit & Working Capital Solutions. Prior to her tenure at Swiss Re, she held an influential role at AIG for over five years where she served as Managing Director and Global Head of Trade Finance. Her earlier career includes a position as an International Banking and Finance Associate at Hogan Lovells.
