Parsyl Strengthens North American Presence with New Appointment
Parsyl, a leading data-driven insurer specializing in essential supply chains, has announced the appointment of Ted Calligeros as the new Head of Cargo for North America. Based in New York City, Calligeros will be at the helm of developing and implementing the company’s underwriting strategy across the region.
In his strategic role, Calligeros is tasked with establishing a local office and expanding Parsyl’s North American underwriting team. This expansion aims to serve a wider array of clients and manage an increased spectrum of risks.
With a decade of experience in underwriting, Calligeros brings substantial expertise to his new position. His previous tenure as Executive Vice President at Loadsure, an insurtech company with a focus on cargo, involved leading ocean cargo and inland marine underwriting. Prior to Loadsure, he spent eight years honing his skills in various cargo underwriting roles at the global insurer Allianz.
