New Appointment at Global Parametrics
Global Parametrics, a company under the CelsiusPro Group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ola Jacob as the London Market Business Development Director. With over 13 years of industry experience, Jacob is set to spearhead the growth of CelsiusPro Group’s parametric solutions within the London Market. His efforts will focus on supporting both private and public-sector clients in strengthening their resilience against climate-related challenges.
Career Background
Jacob transitions to Global Parametrics from Descartes Underwriting, where he held the position of UK & Ireland Business Development Director, concentrating on parametric solutions. His career also includes a notable tenure at FloodFlash, where he began in 2019 as an Account Executive before advancing to Broker Success Manager. Prior to this, he served as an Insurance Advisor at Tapoly and contributed his expertise as an Innovation Advisor at Lloyd’s. During his time at Lloyd’s, Jacob was appointed to the Management Board of Lloyd’s Community Programme.
Professional Journey
Before his roles at Descartes and FloodFlash, Jacob accumulated over four years of experience with Arthur J. Gallagher International. His professional journey also includes a significant period at Alesco Risk Management Services, where he dedicated more than two years of service.
