Eric Andersen’s New Role at Aon

Aon has announced a significant leadership transition. Eric Andersen, who has served as the president of the company, will now take on the role of senior advisor to CEO Greg Case. This advisory role will last until June 2026, during which Case will also assume the responsibilities of president. Andersen’s journey with Aon began in 1997 following the acquisition of Minet, and over the years, he has been a pivotal force in implementing the Aon United strategy, which has consistently delivered positive outcomes for clients, colleagues, and shareholders over his 28-year tenure.

Andersen’s Contributions and Future Plans

During his time as president, Andersen played a crucial role in unifying Aon’s integrated Risk Capital, comprising Reinsurance and Commercial Risk, and Human Capital which includes Health, Wealth, and Talent capabilities. This integration was part of operationalizing Aon’s 3×3 Plan, aimed at accelerating and enhancing client service. Andersen reflected on his career with Aon, saying, “I’m deeply grateful to have spent nearly three decades with Aon, working alongside an incredibly talented group of colleagues, partners, and clients. It’s been a privilege to be part of such an exciting journey. With the firm’s 3×3 Plan and a strong executive team in place, alongside the successful integration of NFP, now is the right time to move into an advisory role, and I look forward to seeing the firm continue to grow and succeed in the years to come.”

CEO Greg Case’s Acknowledgment

CEO Greg Case expressed his appreciation for Andersen’s dedication and impact, stating, “Eric has exemplified what it means to be Aon United – putting our clients first, championing innovation, and addressing some of the greatest risks facing business and society. Across our global firm, you can see Eric’s impact in the strength of our integrated offerings and expertise, the next-generation actionable analytics we’re introducing to clients, and the innovative solutions we’re creating to address risk and people issues around the world.
