In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Unico Sigorta introduces a special campaign offering a 10% discount on its UniHealth Supplementary Health Insurance, tailored specifically for women. This initiative, running throughout October, is designed to promote early diagnosis and facilitate access to essential health services. Unico Sigorta, known for its community-driven approach, aims to bring innovation and sensitivity to the insurance industry. With a commitment to both financial protection and enhancing women’s lives, the company is spearheading projects that prioritize public health.
The campaign runs from October 1st to 31st and targets women aged 18 to 50, encouraging them to benefit from the UniHealth Supplementary Health Insurance. Underlining the crucial role of preventive healthcare, Unico Sigorta General Manager Ender Güzeler emphasized the alarming statistics from the World Health Organization (WHO), pointing out that breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer among women in numerous countries. He noted that globally, about 1 in 20 women are likely to face a breast cancer diagnosis, with Turkey seeing approximately 18–19 thousand new cases each year. Given these concerning figures, the campaign aims to stress the significance of protecting women’s health and prioritizing early diagnosis.
