Dhara Patel Takes the Helm as CEO of Davies North America
In a pivotal shift within the organization, Davies, a leader in professional services and technology, has elevated Dhara Patel to the role of CEO for its North American operations. This follows the transition of Matt Button, who has been associated with Davies for nearly a decade, into the position of Group Deputy CEO earlier this year.
Patel’s new responsibilities will include managing the company’s operations and sales teams spread across the United States and Canada, overseeing an impressive $500 million in annual revenue. Davies’ North American division is renowned for its expertise in claims administration, actuarial services, and risk management solutions, catering to a diverse clientele that includes insurers, brokers, MGAs, Lloyd’s Syndicates, Captives, Corporates, and the Public Sector.
In her role, Patel will prioritize client service excellence while strategically expanding the firm’s capabilities and solutions in the region. She will collaborate closely with Button and Group CEO Dan Saulter to enhance the delivery and implementation of Davies’ agentic AI technology across its claims processing platforms. This initiative aims to boost operational efficiency and provide greater value for clients.
With a robust 25-year background in insurance claims and professional services, Patel brings a wealth of experience to her new role. Her previous positions include Services Segment President at Brown & Brown and President of the International Association of Claims Professionals (IACP) from 2022 to 2023. Patel joined Davies in 2023 as part of its acquisition of ACM, USIS, PGCS, and ICA.
