Leadership Strengthened with New Board Members
Bermuda-based re/insurer Aspen Insurance Holdings Limited has announced the appointment of Christian Dunleavy as a Director and Michael Lagler as a Non-Executive Director to its Board, effective from March 17th, 2025.
Meet the New Board Members
- Christian Dunleavy currently serves as the Group President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Aspen Bermuda Limited. He oversees the group’s underwriting strategy, claims management, and business development efforts. With over 25 years of industry expertise, Dunleavy joined Aspen in 2015 as Global Head of Property Cat Reinsurance and was later promoted to Group Chief Underwriting Officer in 2022.
- Michael Lagler is a Private Equity Associate at Apollo Global Management, based in London. His role focuses on private equity investments specifically in the insurance and financial services sectors. Before joining Apollo, Lagler was a pivotal member of the investment banking team in the financial institutions group, and later, the mergers and acquisitions group at Perella Weinberg Partners.
