The mobile clinic, Kurtaran Araç, developed by Anadolu Sigorta in partnership with Kurtaran Ev Derneği, made a notable appearance at a festival on October 4, recognized globally as World Animal Protection Day. This event took place at the farm of Kurtaran Ev Derneği, where attendees got an insightful look into the operations of Kurtaran Araç during disasters.
Standing out for contributions that benefit society, Anadolu Sigorta was an active participant in the festival, showcasing its valuable Rescue Vehicle. The event was a convergence of brands and volunteers who support the mission of Kurtaran Ev. Anadolu Sigorta utilized this platform to communicate its disaster relief strategies and the activities inherent in the Rescue Vehicle Project.
At the festival, visitors explored the Rescue Vehicle at the Anadolu Sigorta stand, engaging with the responsibilities it fulfills. Often, these guests learned about its critical roles in urgent situations. As tangible support, visitors received branded food bowls and first aid guides tailored for injured cats, dogs, and birds found in urban settings. A dedicated photo booth, designed to resemble the vehicle, captured memorable moments.
Beyond promotion, Anadolu Sigorta delivered essential supplies including food, litter, and toys for the animals at Kurtaran Ev, further supporting the association’s efforts. Employees present at the venue also interacted warmly with the festival’s canine attendees, reflecting the company’s commitment to animal welfare.
Berna Semiz Ergüntan, the Corporate Communications and Sustainability Coordinator of Anadolu Sigorta, emphasized the importance of recognizing animal rights not just as a personal duty but a broader social commitment. The aim is to enhance awareness via initiatives like the Rescue Vehicle Project and to nurture a culture of animal sensitivity. Celebrating World Animal Protection Day at the Kurtaran Ev Festival, alongside like-minded groups and companies, reinforced the shared responsibility within the community.
